Basketball Game Preview: Brookfield Warriors vs. Crestview Rebels

The Brookfield Warriors will head out to take on the Crestview Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Brookfield beat Mathews 50-44. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Crestview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They snuck past Southeast with a 51-45 victory on Wednesday.

Crestview's win came from a few key players Brookfield will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jonathan Best, who posted 17 points in addition to six assists and six steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Evan Neff, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Brookfield's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Crestview, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Brookfield didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Crestview in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Neff, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 boards.
