Athens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Auburndale Apaches. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bluejays of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Saturday.

Leading Auburndale to victory were Kylie Anderson and Jaylnn Scherr. Anderson had 13 digs, while Scherr had seven digs, five aces, and a kill. The dominant performance gave Scherr a new career-high in aces.
