Litchfield waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Faribault Falcons with a sharp 8-2 win. Considering the Dragons have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Litchfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Faribault, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Litchfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-9 win against Milaca on the 2nd. As for Faribault, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-5 victory against Pine City on the 2nd.
