Basketball Recap: Ashby Takes a Loss

Ashby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Wheaton Warriors, falling 85-51. While losing is never fun, the Arrows can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Warriors are ranked 124th).

Ashby's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Wheaton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashby will square off against Benson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheaton, they will face off against West Central Area at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
