Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy). Everything went their way against the Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles on Monday as they made off with a 15-9 victory. Rodriguez was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also put up a hit, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Joshua Rios was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Christian Maldonado, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
