Baseball Recap: Imagine Prep Coolidge Takes a Loss

Imagine Prep Coolidge extended their losing streak to ten on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-11. They lost 20-0 to the Mission Heights Prep Phantoms. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phantoms this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-0 on April 2nd.

As for Mission Heights Prep, they pushed their record up to 13-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Considering they have won 11 matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For Mission Heights Prep's part, Athyn Alphus was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Alphus has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ayden Briseno, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and eight RBI.

As of now, neither Imagine Prep Coolidge nor Mission Heights Prep have any future games scheduled.
