After losing to Owens Valley the last time they met, Lee Vining decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers came out on top against the Cubs by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 25-13.
Grace Gain paced Lee Vining's offense, picking up seven kills. Gain got some help from Ember Elits and her 21 assists. Elits was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.
Lee Vining's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Owens Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8-1.
