Football Recap: Hallandale Starts off Right with Win over Fort Lauderdale + How To Watch

Hallandale gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 24-19 W over the Fort Lauderdale Flying L. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 31-6 win the Flying L's walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for Fort Lauderdale and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hallandale will welcome Somerset Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Lauderdale, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Boyd Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
