Softball Recap: Troy Trojans vs. West Carrollton Pirates
After only one run in their last matchup, Troy made sure to put some runs up on the board against West Carrollton on Wednesday. The Troy Trojans were the clear victor by a 22-11 margin over the West Carrollton Pirates. That's more bragging rights for Troy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Troy got a massive performance out of Maddie Wright, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Abbey Seger was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5.
Troy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Carrollton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
