Baseball Game Preview: Mountain View Cougars vs. Caldera

For the second straight game, Mountain View will face off against Caldera. The Cougars will welcome Caldera at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Mountain View beat Caldera 8-3. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly five runs.

For Caldera's part, Nolan Clark made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was Clark's first of the season. Colton Robertson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Caldera moved to 11-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Mountain View, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
