Cheshire had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They never let the Hand Tigers get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Cheshire pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hand, they moved to 11-10 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Cheshire nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
