Mikey Simonyan commands the offense for Broncos win

Recap: Bella Vista Broncos vs. Yuba City Honkers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Inderkum, the Bella Vista Broncos were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Yuba City by a score of 61-53. That's another feather in the cap for Bella Vista, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bella Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mikey Simonyan, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Damian Rickett, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Yuba City lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alex Saavedra, who scored 15 points. Anthony Medina was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.

Bella Vista's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Yuba City, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.

Bella Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yuba City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Yuba City is on a seven-game streak of home losses, River Valley a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
