Basketball Recap: Mount Michael Benedictine Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Mount Michael Benedictine put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 51-44 victory over the Ralston Rams. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Ralston's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cade Stix, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Maher, who put up five points and five boards.

Mount Michael Benedictine's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ralston, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Mount Michael Benedictine will be home for the holidays to greet Bryan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ralston, they have already played their next matchup, a 78-26 defeat against Ashland-Greenwood on the 12th.
