Basketball Recap: Lincoln Park Takes a Loss

If Lincoln Park was feeling good fresh off their 61-33 takedown of Curie last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lincoln Park Lions fell 38-29 to the Maine East Blue Demons on Thursday. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Demons from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Lincoln Park has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Maine East, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Park won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ogden International at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maine East, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Niles West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
