Football Recap: Greenbrier Comes Up Short

The matchup between Greenbrier and Bradwell Institute on Friday hardly resembled the 16-2 effort from their previous meeting. The Wolfpack came up short against the Tigers, falling 51-28. The Wolfpack were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Bradwell Institute's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cameron Keeve led the charge by rushing for 151 yards and one TD on only 14 carries. Jahbari Felix was another key signal caller, throwing for 155 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes.

Greenbrier is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Bradwell Institute, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Greenbrier wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 34-28 loss against South Effingham on the 3rd. As for Bradwell Institute, they have also already played their next contest, a 60-14 defeat against Brunswick on the 3rd.
