Soccer Recap: Lewis-Palmer Victorious

Lewis-Palmer kept a clean sheet against Pueblo West on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Pueblo West Cyclones 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Rangers were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ella Nedbalski, which was the first she's scored this season.

Lewis-Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-2. As for Pueblo West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Lewis-Palmer will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Doherty at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st. Lewis-Palmer's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Doherty's offense will have their work cut out for them. Pueblo West will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Sand Creek at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st.
