Volleyball Recap: Pender Comes Up Short

Pender lost against North Bend Central back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pendragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Pendragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kaylee Schroeder paced Pender's offense, picking up six kills. Schroeder got some help from Hadley Walsh and her 13 assists. Myra Hansen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pender's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for North Bend Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Pender didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Humphrey-Lindsay on the 18th. As for North Bend Central, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Howells-Dodge on the 21st.
