Mainland Regional has gone 8-2 against Ocean City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mainland Regional Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ocean City Raiders at 5:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Mainland Regional was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-38 to Ocean City. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mainland Regional better focus on containing Scarlett Fletcher and Naomi Nnewihe as the pair were huge in Ocean City's win. Fletcher dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Nnewihe posted 15 points along with five boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave Fletcher a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Hudson, who put up five points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Ocean City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Mainland Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Ocean City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.
