Baseball Game Preview: South Pointe Stallions vs. Richland Northeast Cavaliers

For the second straight game, South Pointe will face off against Richland Northeast. The Stallions will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m.

South Pointe is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Richland Northeast with a sharp 16-3 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Stallions as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

South Pointe got a massive performance out of Lance Whitaker, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two runs gave Whitaker a new career-high. Kaden McClure was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Richland Northeast is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9. As for South Pointe, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
