Recap: Madison Trojans vs. Blissfield Royals
The Madison Trojans were the 51-25 winner over the Blissfield Royals when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. Madison fell just short of Blissfield by a score of 54-51.
Madison's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryce Jordan, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. Jordan scored a full 31.4% of Madison's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Antonio Nieto, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Blissfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will square off against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blissfield's road trip will continue as they head out to face Dundee at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Dundee will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
