Lapwai hadn't done well against Potlatch recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Wildcats won by a set and slipped past the Loggers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Loggers two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Potlatch lost, don't look at Rylee Tucker. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and ten aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Smith, who had 26 digs and three assists.

Lapwai has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Potlatch, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Lapwai didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Troy on the 23rd. Potlatch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
