Baseball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Patriots vs. Badger Braves
There's no place like home for Cornerstone Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Badger Braves on Tuesday.
Joey Lindic spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits.
On the hitting side, Nolan Tautges and Will Archer did most of the damage at the plate: Tautges went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double, while Archer scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Cornerstone Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Badger, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
