Baseball Game Preview: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Pacific Ridge Firebirds

The San Jacinto Tigers will take on the Pacific Ridge Firebirds at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. San Jacinto has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 8th.

San Jacinto lost 14-2 to Tahquitz on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pacific Ridge). They skirted past St. Joseph Academy 10-8. The win continues a trend for the Firebirds in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won three in a row.

Cal Chivers was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Pacific Ridge back to even at 3-3. As for San Jacinto, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
