Softball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Picks Up 14th Consecutive Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Bay Haven Academy walked away with it. They came out on top against the Baldwin Indians by a score of 6-3 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Buccaneers, who have now won 14 contests in a row.

Addison Mallon made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

In other batting news, Bailee Gladden was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Ally Brady was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs.

North Bay Haven Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Baldwin only posted a batting average of .160.

North Bay Haven Academy's record is now 24-3. As for Baldwin, they moved to 20-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither North Bay Haven Academy nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
