Baseball Recap: Holbrook Comes Up Short

Holbrook was the 3-2 winner over Show Low when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Roadrunners fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Holbrook saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Maestas, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Holbrook has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Show Low, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Holbrook will face off against rival Snowflake at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Show Low is set to challenge their familiar foe Winslow at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
