Baseball Recap: Clover Hill Snags Ninth Win in Last 11 Games

There's no place like home for Clover Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Dinwiddie Generals by a score of 7-4 on Thursday.

Carter Burcume was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Carter Hine, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Clover Hill is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Dinwiddie, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clover Hill beat the Generals by a score of 7-4 later that day.
