Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Hillcrest won the last time they faced Reeds Spring and things went their way on Monday too. The Hornets came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 3-1.

Hillcrest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-12, 25-17, 25-11.

Lillie Moore paced Hillcrest's offense, picking up 20 kills. Moore got some help from KeAshza Roy and her 34 assists. Nicholette Guavis controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hillcrest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Carl Junction on the 30th. As for Reeds Spring, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Springfield Catholic on the 30th.
