Baseball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne lost to Mount Michael Benedictine back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3.

Wayne saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brodey Munter, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wayne is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Paul/Palmer at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mount Michael Benedictine will face off against rival Lincoln Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
