Volleyball Recap: Santee Takes a Loss

Santee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Omaha Nation Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Santee was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 12 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12.

Santee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Omaha Nation, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chiefs beat Santee by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.
