Pecos has gone 6-1 against Santa Fe Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Blue Griffins at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Pecos is leaving town to face Santa Fe Prep after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Panthers fell just short of Mesa Vista by a score of 53-51 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Panthers have suffered since January 30th.

Santa Fe Prep kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 62-32 loss at the hands of Mora. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Pecos couldn't quite finish off Santa Fe Prep in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 and fell 55-53. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
