Football Recap: Berry Comes Up Short Despite Noah Brown's Big Defensive Game + How To Watch

Berry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 22-7 bruising from the Rocky River Ravens. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 13-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Berry didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Noah Brown led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Rocky River found their leader in sophomore Tyrell Barze, who rushed for 173 yards and one TD, and also picked up 76 receiving yards.

Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rocky River, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

After each having a week off, Berry and West Cabarrus will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. This will be the Cardinals' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Rocky River, they will square off against Hopewell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
