Baseball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Sports Leadership & Management's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Mater Lakes Academy Bears on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, Sports Leadership & Management's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sports Leadership & Management has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. Mater Lakes Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-3.

Coming up, Sports Leadership & Management will head out to challenge Homestead at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Sports Leadership & Management is facing Homestead at the right time seeing as Homestead is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Mater Lakes Academy, they will welcome ABF Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mater Lakes Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
