Softball Recap: Haddonfield Takes a Loss

Haddonfield managed to slip by Oakcrest the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldawgs came up short against the Falcons on Friday, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldawgs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Haddonfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-1 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Oakcrest, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haddonfield will welcome Gloucester Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakcrest, they will take on Cape May County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
