Basketball Recap: Jackson County Takes a Loss

Jackson County lost against Jefferson last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jackson County Panthers received a blow as they fell 55-39 to the Jefferson Dragons. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Jackson County and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson County will take on Winder-Barrow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will square off against West Hall at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
