Herbert Hoover faced Spring Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Huskies narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Timberwolves 2-1. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Herbert Hoover who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 15-8.
