Mitchell Christian had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Sioux Falls Lutheran by a score of 64-54 on Tuesday. That ten points margin sets a new team best for Mitchell Christian this season.
It was another big night for Aiden Lieber, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Mitchell Christian's points. Brady Asbenson was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Meanwhile, Tripp-Delmont/Armour came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Bon Homme with points to spare, taking the game 50-31.
Mitchell Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Tripp-Delmont/Armour, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
