St. Paul waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Wood River Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Paul was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13.

Piepyr Klinginsmith paced St. Paul's offense, picking up six kills. Klinginsmith got some help from Zaya Lewis and her 17 assists.

St. Paul's record is now 22-9. As for Wood River, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-21.

St. Paul didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Ravenna on the 27th. As for Wood River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against St. Patrick's on the 27th.
