Volleyball Recap: Peninsula Catholic Knights vs. North Cross Raiders
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Peninsula Catholic had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Cross Raiders by a score of 3-1.
Peninsula Catholic got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 16-25, 30-28, 25-21.
Among those leading the charge was Addison Dent, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.
Dent wasn't the only good servers: Peninsula Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 21 consecutive contests.
