Basketball Recap: John Marshall Comes Up Short

John Marshall was the 72-60 winner over Garrett Morgan when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The John Marshall Lawyers took an 85-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garrett Morgan Falcons on Tuesday. The Lawyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

John Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Garrett Morgan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Marshall will square off against East at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Garrett Morgan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Independence at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th.
