Martin County waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Treasure Coast Titans 12-6. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Cooper Proctor looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Kamai Purce was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of John Thornton, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Martin County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Martin County pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Treasure Coast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Martin County will venture away from home to face off against Jensen Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Treasure Coast, they will welcome John Carroll Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
