Softball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

After flying high against East Liverpool last Friday, Edison came back down to earth. Edison came up short against the Weir Red Riders on Monday, falling 7-1. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Weir, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will square off against Oak Glen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Glen will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Edison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Weir, they will welcome Cambridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
