Volleyball Recap: Crosspoint Christian Takes a Loss

Crosspoint Christian lost against Heritage Classical Christian Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Crosspoint Christian fell 3-1 to Heritage Classical Christian Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 21-25, 25-14, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Crosspoint Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lizzy Schutt had seven kills, six aces, and one block. Schutt has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last 11 times she's played.

Crosspoint Christian dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Heritage Classical Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Meanwhile, Heritage Classical Christian Academy will square off against rival Victory Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
