Volleyball Game Preview: Coventry Patriots vs. Academy of International Studies Dragons + Official Tickets

Coventry is on an eight-game streak of home wins, while Academy of International Studies is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Patriots will host the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Coventry is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Wheeler with a sharp 3-0 win.

Brooke White had an outrageously good game as she had 28 digs. Those 28 digs gave her a new career-high. Rowynn Myshrall was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.

Coventry was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 17 consecutive contests.

Academy of International Studies not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 6th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Wolcott RVT 3-0.

Academy of International Studies' victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Coventry, their win bumped their record up to 20-3.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's match: Coventry has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 14.7 aces per game. However, it's not like Academy of International Studies struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.4 aces.
