Softball Recap: Glenn Bobcats vs. Atkins Camels
Glenn had won three straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 5-7 to make it four. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Atkins Camels a 14-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 two weeks ago.

Addyson Irving made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Glenn got a massive performance out of Kendall Fraas, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. On Atkins' side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Fleming, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles.
