Basketball Recap: Lomega Snaps 21-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It was a good run, but Lomega unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hammon Warriors by a score of 53-51. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Lomega's defeat ended a 21-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-2. As for Hammon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-4.

Lomega will take on Timberlake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hammon, they will venture away from home to square off against Canute at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canute will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Hammon surely won't give up without a fight.
