Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Lela Hipp and Kayden Gronczniak Lead Arab to Victory

Arab not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Scottsboro Wildcats. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Arab was led to victory by Kayden Gronczniak and Lela Hipp. Gronczniak had 15 digs and four assists, while Hipp had nine assists and five digs. That's the most assists Gronczniak has posted since September 2nd.

Arab was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Arab has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-20 record this season. As for Scottsboro, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Arab and Scottsboro will both be playing Danville the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
