Recap: Taylorsville Warriors vs. Hunter Wolverines
There's no place like home for the Taylorsville Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 66-54 win over Hunter on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Taylorsville also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Bronson Dallimore, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Allen, who scored 17 points along with five assists.
When it comes to explaining why Hunter lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dominick Phannolath. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points. Zaquel Cossa was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Taylorsville pushed their record up to 5-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Hunter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
Taylorsville will head out on the road to square off against West Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Jordan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 253 points over their last four matches. As for Hunter, they will be playing at home against Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Juan Diego Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
