Football Game Preview: Wheaton Academy Warriors vs. Aurora Christian Eagles + How To Watch

The Wheaton Academy Warriors will head out to take on the Aurora Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Wheaton Academy had taken Bishop McNamara down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Warriors took a 29-14 bruising from the Fightin' Irish. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Aurora Christian over Chicago Christian in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Knights out of the water with a 49-7 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

The victory made it two in a row for Aurora Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 34 points. As for Wheaton Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Wheaton Academy against Aurora Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
