Davenport benefitted from Gaston in 53-51 win
On Friday Cameron Gaston was dialed in and scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Considering what he did the last time these two duked it out (he scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals), Canyon Lake should've known better. Gaston is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. For the season, he has averaged 11.3 points, 1.9 steals, and 5.1 rebounds per game.
Gaston and Davenport will be playing at home against Fredericksburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will pit Gaston up against Fredericksburg's star small forward Asher Goehmann. Will Gaston turn in another gem to overcome Davenport? We'll have our answer very soon.
