Chiawana is 8-2 against Kennewick since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Riverhawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Chiawana's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Chiawana took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Hermiston get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory continues a trend for Chiawana in their matchups with Hermiston: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennewick). They put the hurt on Southridge with a sharp 6-0 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Kennewick with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Kennewick and bumps their season record up to 10-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Chiawana, they pushed their record up to 13-1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Chiawana skirted past Kennewick 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Riverhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
